If possible, get a group from the local high school to help serve. You'll still need adults to supervise, but not to do the serving. We got the Key Club for the 1st time this year, and now they are coming back next year!

We had a spaghetti dinner/auction 2 years ago, and Francesco Rinaldi donated the spaghetti sauce for the dinner and a case of spaghetti sauce to raffle off, plus spaghetti servers, napkins and aprons. Here is the link:

We're a K - 5 school with 370 students. Our Spaghetti Supper is held on a Friday night in October in conjunction with our Scholastic Book Fair. On the stage in the cafetorium, we also hold a cake walk that kids love! The supper & cake walk net +/-$1000. We charge $13 max for a family; $5 per adult; $1.50 per child ages 5-12 (need to raise that price!). The cake walk is a quarter per round. Dinner includes spaghetti; salad; apple sauce; bread; cookies; & beverages. We control our costs by having families donate different items per grade level: tea or lemonade for the K's; apple sauce from the 1st grade; cookies from 2nd & 3rd; & spaghetti sauce from 4th & 5th. Anyone can donate items for the cake walk. Next year, we plan to take advantage of Mueller's spaghetti donation program. Lotsa volunteers are needed for this event: cooking, clean up, collecting $$; serving food; running the cake walk; etc.

I was unable to get a firm answer on the free sauce, but the company suggests sending all communication via snail mail to:

Also, to update a prior thread here, here is the website that currently offers free spaghetti and other goodies:

Does anyone know if Paul Newman would donate spaghetti sauce? Seems I heard that somewhere, might want to try.
