Last year, our PTA and Family Resource Center had 2 programs we named "Make & Take" Night.One was held in December. We used the tables in the cafeteria and each table had a craft, materials, and volunteer to assist...crafts were holiday related.(including old bagels with peanut butter then rolled into bird seeds).we had holiday music and served hot chocolate, hot apple cider, cookies....great time...Then in the spring we had another one and focus on spring crafts (i.e. windstock, bird feeder and squirrel feeder...grassy caterpillar (from Family Fun magazine using panty hose, potting soil (or saw dust)...grass seeds, wiggly eyes, small rubber bands, pom poms and pipe cleaners...we served hot dogs on grill and chips and soda...really enjoyed by many!!!!I see where you all will have a family night for arts and crafts but somewhere I see it won't become available till Jan???It would be so wonderful if you can have it come ASAP so we can use it for the upcoming holiday season...THANKS!!!!Lou Goings, PTA President Maupin Elementary School, Louisville, KY
