Fun Night Giveaway Help

Page: 1

In less than a month we'll be having Family Fun Night - a FUNraiser NOT a funDraiser. We charge admission, but do so for break-even only. One year we made $15.00 another we lost $20 - so we are pretty consistent.

This year's theme is Go Texan or Rodeo theme. This is a K-5 elementary and we're trying to find a giveaway that is both reasonably priced (like fifty cents or less each) appropriate to all six grades, and somewhat tied to the theme.

If y'all have any ideas I'd sure appreciate knowing what has worked for you in the past and where you might suggest looking!

Thanks.

I´m not clear from your post how you do your give aways or if everyone gets something, but Oriental Trading has cowboy hats, bandanas, sheriff´s badges, and so on. You could have sets of those plastic cowboy and indians from the dollar store. You can also find dream catcher keychains pretty easily. There's country & western CD's too. For decorations, I did this at a party a few years ago, find cowboys boots at a thrift store and use them as vases for the table settings. Gingham material is cheap and can be used for tableclothes or accents.
