We are having an AR Rewards day for the kids who make their goal for the 4th 9 weeks. Do any of you have ideas for some water events for this? Our event will last about and hour. Thanks in advance for any of your ideas

Water day? this is new!

An extreme idea - ask the local fire department to set up a big water hose and flood the playground or create some kind of fountain in the middle of the playground.

Water balloon toss (this never lasts long enough).

Frozen water - popsicles?

Create some kind of trough system with gutters and have sail boat races?

Momskis last suggestion reminded me of a game we have for our end of year festival. We set up two long lengths (about 10') of rain gutters on two crates, one at each end of the gutters. Both ends are capped. Fill with water and put a rubber ducky in each one. Use squirt guns or spray bottles to race the ducks. Maybe this could be done as a relay.

There is the wet sponge "Under Over Game". Take a good and wet sponge, the first person hands it over his/her head the next one under his/her leg. After they hand off they go to the end of the line and who every reaches the the finish line first wins... a great big splash with a bucket of water! Our public library had a little carnival one time and they had a water relay where they filled a large plastic container (10 gallon garbage can, perhaps) and gave each team a coffee can or pitcher poked full of holes. Each team filled their holey container raced down to a bucket(one for each team) and whoever's team had the most water in it was the winner.

www.pastor2youth.com has some good water games.
