Do you have career fairs at your school? You could have local business on hand to explain their business to the parents and the kids can learn what they need to do if they are interested in that field. For the little ones you could set up some games or craft booths.

Do you have several clubs at your school? They could set up different booths with fun things to do. In high school we had a Spring Fest. There were "fortune telling" games and concessions set up, I can't remember much. Now they have a contest where a willing teacher can see who gets the most votes for a pie in the face or something equally fun. They charge .25 per vote.

In the next couple weeks we are having a pumpkin patch. The high school and middle school do face painting, hay mazes for the kids, pumpkin tosses that kind of thing for the other kids.

We also had last year a Character Night. The middle and high school students has sessions which had plays, activities, crafts to teach the kids about that certain character. Like responsibility, friendship, self- discipline, and how to make better choices in life that kind of thing. It was really nice. And great participatin.
