I think this is an awesome idea!! Our school is located in western pa and I'm having difficulty finding information for a company that does it in this area. Could someone please direct me in the right direction??? Thanks.
What did you do about the children who didn't purchase an animal? Didn't those kids feel left out while the rest made their bears? I'm just a little leary about it because of that.
WOW! We just did our Reading Pal event with Read with Ease at our Back-To-School Rally. The parents, teachers, and students loved it. We got a write-up in our paper saying that we were starting school off the right way, by having the children read, and they had a picture of our students in the paper. The When I Learned to Read book was so touching and I did not realize how many of our students have reading problems. We also purchased books and the parents bought them, and we had to order more. I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. Events like that let me know that all of the hard work I put in the PTO is well worth it.
