We just used shower curtain rings, a lot cheaper if you pick them up at odd lots or dollar store

We have used rings from the dollar store and also from various craft stores. Just be careful you don't buy rings that are too big! We bought bigger rings by accident once and we actually ran out of 2 liters that we were giving away as prizes and have to shut the game down a little over half way through the carnival!
