Performer for a fun mom-son event in SE Mass.

Although I'm not from your area. We have had a reptile/insect guy, mad scientist, magician, and held a movie night showing Secondhand Lions. All went over well but the best Mother/Son event was a sports themed event. We rented a "bungee run" for the M/S to compete against each other, set up a scooter race (using the schools scooters), basketball free throw ( who makes the most out of 3 shots), soccer goal (the mom tries to block the sons goals and vice versa), table setting race ( we used paper plates and disposable utensils), sock match game, put-put, bagging groceries (then donated to items to our food pantry), and any other game we could think up. The boys loved challenging their moms. We also supplied "stadium food" for their dinner. We served hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, soda, etc. We charge $7 per person but that came w/ food and a souvenir cup. We also had little score cards made up for each team.

Our committee chair is planning a mom-son event. Has a thought of bringing in a juggler or something else fun/engaging for moms and kids to do together. Last year's magician went over well.

All you Massachusettsites or Rhode Islanders -- any reccomendations?
