Would you be able to raffle or auction them off at another live event?

What do folks do when there are no bids for an auction item? Our auction is solely on-line, so we won't be having a silent or live auction to move these items. We have a handful of items with no takers.

TIA!

I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone that has posted information on this board. It was my first year running the gift auction for our school. We went from $15,000 last year to almost $28,000 this year. I could not have been able to get to that number without all the ideas and listings that came from this board. So thank you everyone.....we have one very happy school!

Hi Rose,

just an FYI, that PinkCalyx.com Jewelry (which has been donating gift certificates to PTO) has ended it's program.
All donated gift certificates will be honored until their expiration date. The last of the certificates expires Dec 15, 2015.

Thank you for allowing us to participate, and it has been a great pleasure to meet and serve wonderful community and educational organizations.

A lot of sports teams donated signed memorablia. We have had good luck with NY Jets and NJ Devils.

We got a donation from the Mandarin Oriental hotel in NY this year but someone might have know someone to get it but it is worth a try.
