While I always love the expansive profiles of the great groups that win our annual search for the best in PTOs and PTAs (like this year’s winner, the Roxborough (Colo.) Intermediate and Primary PTIC, and the other winners profiled online and in our September issue), my favorite part of the search are the cool ideas that pop up in almost every entry.
Our editors grab the best of these and share them. This year’s picks ranged from a breakfast event with books to a touching student community service project to a practical way for families to help the environment. Look them over; you’re sure to find a few that your group will want to use.
