Rumor has it that Schoolpop -- the new Schoolpop, the one which took over the name (and apparently the same luck) as the once high-flying dotcom -- has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Liquidation likely. Seems like Schoolpop will be no more. These guys took over assets and accounts from National Scrip Center and Schoolcash.com and a couple of others over last several years. Don't know yet if any parent groups are stuck holding the bag.
