“One of the projects our PTO supports is the kindergarten scrapbook. Each year, our very creative kindergarten teacher invites the parents of her kindergartners to join her once a month to make scrapbook pages. This is a great way to get parents interacting with each other, especially at the beginning of the year when you don’t know anyone. At the end of the year, they make color copies of the scrapbook for all the families and assemble them in binders with page protectors. They are a treasured reminder of your child’s first year in kindergarten. The original stays in the classroom, and the kindergartners love to look at the scrapbooks from past years!”
