PTO Today joins the nation this Memorial Day week in honoring those who have paid the ultimate price to protect our many freedoms. Our eternal gratitude also goes out to those families who have shared a loved one with our country in this way.

It's also a great time of year to highlight some nice programs that schools and PTOs and PTAs can use to connect with and honor our military heroes while educating students.

One of our favorite events is the History channel's "Take a Veteran to School" program. Give it a look.
