So, PTO leaders: Get the word out to your communities about this contest! The more families from your school who enter, the better your school’s chance of winning a cafeteria makeover. Let parents know it’s easy to enter. Parents take a photo of their family preparing a rice dish together and submit it to the Uncle Ben’s website. There are a ton of family-friendly rice recipes on the website, too!

Uncle Ben’s is providing resources to make this easy for PTO leaders. For instance, there’s an email template, flyer, and poster that groups can use to promote the contest.

There are also lots of fun family resources on the Ben’s Beginners site that include cooking lessons and recipes for parents and kids.
