Oh boy. Well, this kind of story can get a lot of people worked up. But, this really is a school district issue and not a PTO issue -- unless it is interfering with PTO business. One word of caution -- It is important to avoid discussions about this. As you mention "word has gotten out,'' it could end up that it isn't a true story and the people involved could be upset that others publicly accused them of inappropriate behavior.
