I thought of a Supper Night at our school and was looking for ideas. I was thinking a spaghetti night would be great...

I am very interested in all menus ideas...

Thanks,
Juls

We pre sell Pizza ahead of time through a flier sent home. We get a great discount for a large order and tack on a couple of bucks for profit. Pretty painless it's just reaaly coordinating picking up the pizza and getting them to the school. We then also sell drinks.

Hi - we do this for athletic teams and for parent/teacher conferences.

We've served shredded barbecued chicken or pork (can serve on rolls for a sandwich), potato salad, fruit salad, cakes, cookies, and Kool-Aid. Average cost to make was $2/dinner. You can make $3 per person charging $5/plate. Cheaper than eating at a fast food restaurant. Plus, lots of people donate more.

I have more menu ideas if you are interested.

Our PTO meets at 6:00 pm once a month, and it was suggested that since most people are so busy after work that we prepare dinner and serve it from 5:00 until the meeting begins. We are using this as a fundraiser of course and gave discounts to the PTO members. A specific grade will have a performance after each PTO meeting, so there are always a lot of parents that are not members, but have come to watch their children.

Last night was our first dinner & it was a success. We served hamburgers, hot dogs, chips & drinks. I was just wondering if any other schools have tried this idea and what items we could offer for dinner. We have thought of having chili, soup, or possibly spaghetti dinners. Any ideas would be appreciated greatly!
