We have done it and made about 4,000 last year. We play bingo and sell pizza slices too. I'm in charge of it this year and hope it will just continue to get better. :D

Sorry, I didn't answer that questions. We made about $425.00. on about 10 or 12 baskets.
Pasta Basket: Sauces, different types of pastas.
These items were purchased by a parent from each grade levelwent and purchased the items and put them together.
Sports Basket: Someone donated baseball tickets included (2) caps, (2) t-shirts, waterbottles.

Sorry for the duplicate message, I'm new at this! Anyway, thank you for the great ideas for baskets! Have you done this before? If so was it successful?

Our brand new school is having a Silent Auction. We are combining this with a 'movie night' for the kids in the gym while the parents bid on Silent Auction items in the library. Anyway, we are asking each class to donate items for a gift basket for the auction. Each class is to have a 'theme' for their basket. Has anyone ever done this? If so, can you please list the themes and some ideas for the contents of the basket? Keep in mind that we are asking each child to bring in an item no more than $3. Any ideas/advise would be greatly appreciated!
