Writer of this piece makes classic mistake. Does nice job of accurately reporting precipitously declining PTA membership in Kentucky. But then he concludes that decline is because fewer parents are active, when real reason is that fewer groups are affiliated with PTA. (Of course, we filled him in via email :-) )
