Red ribbon week is in October. Not sure on the exact week yet. It is a national week of commitment to be drug free. last year we had wear red day, red ribbon word search, and on Monday the kids signed a contract with the principal to stay drug free!! In our district the nurse usually organizes this, but we are with out on this year!!! So the PTA is in charge!! :D

Have you thought about having a policeman from the local police dept come in and talk? Most departments have a drug officer who does this, and they always have neat things for the kids. Best part is.....its FREE!!!!
