I got to spend the day relaxing in bed watching Lifetime movies. It was wonderful. I hope everyone of you had as wonderful day as I did.

I thought on Saturday night how I wanted to send everyone here a "Happy Mothers Day" -but the kids stayed at Grandma's and I had a few hours to myself and it slipped my mind! LOL They cooked a wonderful dinner today and I tried my best not to mention the messes they made- but I didn't have to clean up either.
Hope everyone's DAY was as wonderful as mine!! You all deserve the BEST!!

That is sooo sweet!!! Kids just have a way of bringing you back down, don't they? They just put everything into perspective. Hope you've all enjoyed your day!! That laundry will be there tomorrow plus some! ha ha

Just wanted to share a story. I've been pretty run down lately with finals (12 hours), having only 2 moms in our group, the carnival, and T.A.W. and one teacher was trying to be really sweet and tell me that they should do something for me for all I do-we had a volunteer reception just a few weeks ago and it wasn't put on by our group but paid for by our group and it was done poorly because of certain administrative decisions. Anyway, just then my son brings me a plant he's been growing-and interupted us of course. He says he had to take good care of it to make it grow so he could bring it home like a momma takes good care of the baby in her belly before she can bring it home. I think for a second my exhaustion fleed and I said to the teacher, my motives are purely selfish. I do this just for my children, to make their lives better and to show them how much I care. All the other hugs and thank yous are just a bonus. The sweet woman started to tear up and said she can't wait to have kids now. Anyway, I think any mother or father that cares enough to wear themself out trying to make their child enjoy what school has to offer deserves a great big virtual hug today and I want to say thank you for caring that much about your children and sharing it with me. Happy Mother's Day!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!!
We rock and we know it!
I so LOVE the presents our kids make at school. My son was so full of pride as he handed me his little basil plant in a special bag he had made and a book with special chores he would do.
Last night as I tucked him into bed, he said "Happy Mother's Day momma...tomorrow, I'm gonna give you lots of kisses and lovins." AWWWW
Moments like that are just priceless!!!!
:D :D :D

I'll third that! But about the laundry? What is that? Is that all the stuff that piles up in those baskets and keep multipling???

Anyways, I hope that all of you have a great day and enjoy what ever comes your way!
