Raise awareness of recycling

The PTO had been looking for ways to raise awareness of recycling among teachers, parents, and the school’s 750 K-5 students; after seeing a similar program at her church, recycling committee chairwoman Kim Anderson suggested that they collect unwanted materials for students to make “found art”-style sculptures.
