In school Programs!

You can try your local universities' outreach programs. Many of them come to your school. Also try your local arts program/council. We have something called "Young Audiences of Greater Dallas" that is like semi-professionals who sing, dance, entertain for a fee. It ranged from $250-800. You can also look at a site: madscience.org. You can do in class activities or evening ones.

Contact your zoos and/or museums for their outreach programs. The Dallas Art museum will be coming to our school for free!

You can probably just do a search under "outreach -town-" and you'll get alot of sites to check out. Hope some of these ideas are useful.

Our Principal is frowning on class field trips, so I was wondering what type of fun programs you have come to your school. We had a couple of difficulties this past year with trips.

I know there are so many to choose from. We have a puppet theater that comes every year to our school. I know we have had different kind of pet programs too. Wondering what the children like best. Thanks for any info.

Renee ;)
