The last day of school is today and when I was there last week, the sign-up sheet for today was FULL to use the new space outside!
It hasn't become a "if we do this" but "how soon can we get this done"!

aok- no worries! Our Building Manager is all over the idea!! HE LOVED IT!! So many playground projects are so short lived or have so little wear, hopefully this different product (whatever it is!) will be great!!

Now...just so you know...I copyright all my ideas before I share them! HA!!!

we had tire chips, they are GREAT, and i think, but not 100% sure, the BEST shock absorbers too , better than plygrd chips and all that(google 'cspi (and or CDC) and playground safety' and you will get the scoop).only little hitch: high price.

I think that idea sounds great! there are often kids who are in wheelchairs or casts and who cannot "play" on the outside equipment. I love the idea of having an alternative for them to enjoy rather the usual reading. Awesome, i hope you don't mind if I suggest if our PTO or school might try the same thing.
