Past president voting rights

13 years 10 months ago #153905 by Anonymous
Past president voting rights was created by Anonymous
I have recently been elected PTO president for the next two years. Our past president isn't happy that her term is over and insists that she still be included in every decision. The Executive board has decided to make some new changes but the past president is insulted that we aren't doing it her way. She says that she wasn't given a vote on the changes. We were told the past president doesn't get a vote and that they are there in an advisory role only. I know she can vote in General PTO meetings but does she get a vote in the Executive Board meetings about fundraisers chosen, etc.?
