I'm a little confused about what happened, and what you're asking.
Apparently you're saying no one was elected secretary to replace you, and you want to know if that means you're still secretary since you weren't elected president. Is that right? If so, and if your bylaws don't say something like terms of office continue until a successor is elected, then the office of secretary is vacant. And if your bylaws don't say anything about how vacancies are filled, but do say that you follow Robert's Rules, then the board fills the vacancy by appointment, not by special election.
If the bylaws don't say any of that -- about terms lasting until a successor is elected, about filling vacancies, or about following Robert's Rules -- then you need to revise your bylaws. But you're still not secretary because the bylaws say the term is one year and that term has expired.
I don't think it's still your position. If no one ran for it, then the office is still empty, and there should be a special election to fill the vacancy.
that wasnt the question theres nothing in by laws read it several times the question is if noone ran for secretary and i was secretary last year (idint run cause i was running for president)am i still secretary?since i wadnt elected president and that would make my position not available.
