Hi Nikole. I see that you're very new and that you mentioned on another post that you're a new president of a new group. It's fantastic that you're working on bylaws. And that you've come here to do some research. You'll find that many members here are very helpful!
I don't want to see you get frustrated so I thought I'd share a handy tip with you. Pay particular attention to the posts' dates. It's highly unlikely that someone who made an offer a year ago is still checking this thread and sharing documents. Rather, click on some of the links listed in the posts. Check out the Bonus Tools section of PTO Today. There are a lot of bylaws samples to look at there too.
Take lots of time to read through some threads specific to your questions (Search Message Boards), chime in on current threads and start new posts if you have a question you haven't seen answered recently. There's a lot of back and forth here and plenty of smart folks willing to share their experiences so be sure to ask questions and participate in the 'discussions'.

Looking for By Laws for California, also we are just now formalizing and parent participation at this time is limited, mostly due to our high number of refugee families. Any suggestions? Help!!!
