PTO Room

We have the use of an empty classroom for our meetings, workshops, and bakesales. We don't have any equipment in it. We do everything at home and bring it up to the school. When we get done we clean up the room and take everything home again.

I have to say the school is very good to us and we have an actual classroom. So we have tables to organize things at and do whatever. We have a refrigerator, sink, and plenty of storage. We also have a corner set up with old toys that past PTO officers have brought in so we have a little play area which works out great for my little 18 mth old when I am there I can get a lot done. :D

The other schools dont have as much as we do in our primary school. The principal is very good to us.

i think this is were I get into a little bit of trouble. I can't leave my two youngest in the hallway if I need to be in the lounge but I do make sure I am in there before or after lunch.

Kinda a sore topic...PTO room. $5million addition to the school and no space for the PTO! UGH! Have no fear,I'm working on it!

I feel so lucky! We do have a room, with a door, and a lock on it. I go in there during my free time (I work at school) and I keep everything in there, spirit wear, fundraising things. We have 2 file cabinets, one desk, and a large table. The PTO has full access to our workroom, as well as any other room that is available. Our room is not big enough to hold board meetings or general membership meetings but it is nice to have someplace to go to work on PTO related things. I knew that our PTO was blessed with a great Principal, now I believe it even more. I guess we really are very lucky to have what we have.

We don't have a room. Our items are stored in an old electrical closet, but it's all right. I wish we had a room.

We're allowed to use the copiers in the Teacher's Lounge. We provide the school a budget to purchase ink for the Duplo Machines and a maintenance contract on the laminator.

Gosh you guys are so lucky! I spend 10 hours a week at my childrens school and all we get is a cabinet to cram all of our stuff in. You should feel special to have a room! We don't even have a place to hang up our coats. Plus, we can't use the teachers lounge at all becasue teachers complained that parents were in there using the copier, cutting paper and all that.
