You know my Army background is really limiting my creativity on this as I cannot seem to couple anything with Rangers but the idea of good looking guys in camoflague walking in swamps holding weapons...just not what you're looking for I suspect....

Is there a past theme or idea that you used to follow...what do you think of when you think of Rangers...a person? I'm going to look it up in the dicationary. Back soon...

Just saw this (August 12)...bobkittens is VERY cute. We also do a kindercafe where the kids go each friday and wear their kindercat tshirts and stand in a circle and do fun songs and dances (hokie pokie etc). It is just a fun time for everyone and really great to watch!!!!

Thanks for the kittens idea--:)

D - -thanks! I saw somewhere (I did use the search function! yeah me! LOL) that you call your kindergarteners "Kindercats" or something similar to that? Our principal started something last year - on the first day for our K's, who start the Monday after the rest of the kids, he wore a digital sign thingy on his tie (about the size of a memory stick) that said "Welcome Bobkittens!" The parents and the kids loved it and even the older kids got into it and the kindergarten classes were called Bobkittens the rest of the year. I'm going to remind the principal of that and also suggest we do something at the end of the year to signify them moving up to becoming might Bobcats! (we don't do a K graduation)

Thought you might like a suggestion thrown back your way for once! ;)

Hey Tink--well as I posted above we pretty much use the bobcat mews for the school newsletter, the bobcat prints for the PTO newsletter and the "little prints" for the child published insert to the newsletter that we prepare. Our school is 4 years old and we adopted the "Leavin' our prints all over the place" three years ago. I like the message it sends as to our PTO being all over the school AND the nation with our programs (even the world as we just completed a toy drive that sent 21 boxes of toys to an orphanage in Kabul). We have (the school has) a closed circuit TV they use for the daily Bobcat Bulletins and so on. One of our first purchases for the school was a large bobcat uniform (he's names spirit) and the children get to see him on a lot of different special occassions.
I wll leave the presidency next year and am not sure if they will keep the slogan or not....if you search on any of the "feline" animal names (lion, tigers, panthers etc) you see some other thoughts using "cubs", "dens", "prides" -- not sure what bobcats have (maybe kits) but will probably use those for some other things this year.
