I have developed websites for two PTO's in our district. We use godaddy.com to host both of them. Please check them out!

We are putting more attention to our website this year. At back to school night we are giving all parents a magnet with all the important phone numbers and our web address in bold. We will directing parents to our website if they need to download forms or get questions answered on when something is. I want to expand what our website can do since it is a resource for us. People can't always make it to our meets so they can go our website and see our minutes. I agree with d. it is another way to communicate with parents. I have spent alot of time on the message boards finding other schools websites and seeing what would work for us. It does not make sense to recreate the wheel when so many people have great ideas on their websites. You can check ours out at Bernice Young School Family Association . We are not completely done, next are pictures of our board members and our events.

HUGE--we do and so do many others...check out the search engine for websites and read a ton of great stuff. Ours is brentpto.com....THE KEY TO PTO SUCCESS in my humble opinion...is COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE...it is the only way to increase allegiance and alliance...d

How many of you have a PTO website for your school? Do you find it has increased parent involvement?
