The Polar Express is a big hit. Why don't you have a story time and read the book, then you can have hot choclate and make the bells like they have in the story. sheryl

Saw a very cute polar express made out of kisses and a roll of life savers. There were other things on there that I'm sure you could google...d

let them decorate cookies. you can purchase plain sugar cookies and provide the frosting and sprinkles.

you could make foam magnetic picture frames and decorate with snow flakes and glitter.

you could still have hot chocolate and then get some extra bags with hot chocolate mix, marshmallows and let kids make some as gifts. they can decorate the recipe or gift tag.

make "reindeer food" in baggies. use oatmeal, star confetti or red and green glitter.

tell them to put it outside on xmas eve. the birds will eat the oatmeal and the glitter helps the reindeer fly.

you could have your art activity help a cause: make a care package to the troops or make cards for childrens hospitals or make fleece blankets that kids can tie up for local hospitals or shelters.

hopes this gives you some ideas!

You Would Need Graham Crackers, Choc. Candy Bar, Large Marshmellows And Choc. Chips....you Put A Cracker On The Bottom Then Small Peice Of Choc. Bar, Put Two Large Marsmellows On Top Then Add Choc. Chips For Eyes (and Mouth If Needed) And To Add An Extra You Can Add A Small Peice Of Licorice As A Scarf..take A Picture Of Them And Their Snowman And Then Let Them Eat It!!!

Our school does the "supercitizen" every month. The students who are supercitizens go to an early lunch and eat with the principal and get a small prize they pick off a table when their name is called. Many of the gifts are donated by families, teachers, etc. Prizes like McDonald toys or such. The kids love it. They also get extra recess or a movie (depending on weather) while the other students are at lunch.

Hmmm, you've peaked my interest with the snowman smore...I don't mean to sound stupid though, but how do you make "snowman" smore.. is it different from a regular smore???
