Interruption during meetings

13 years 6 months ago #155060 by barb_r
According to Robert's Rules yes. Something I found that has helped too is to make sure that everyone in the group is aware of how Robert's Rules functions, that anyone can request discussion to end, etc. It isn't just up to the moderator to help keep the meeting on track. If everyone is aware of the procedures though there is less chance of members running off track and less chance of hard feelings if the moderator does call the assembly to order and back on task.

We've had a couple meetings now and we constantly have interruption from two members.

Completely going off topic of the current agenda causing delays, hence....longer meetings.

What is the rule of thumb to keep discussion to a minimum if any?

Is it possible to put a time limit on this?
