I am a working mom, and I've dreamed of being involved on the PTA/PTO board and really digging in. But with my work hours, it's just not possible. I try to work the carnival, book sales, etc. as often as I can, but it gets pretty spotty sometimes. I've often wondered what the PTA members who are really active think of us "occasional volunteers." Are we too much of a pain--or is it okay to stick our noses in just once in awhile?
