We combine our School Spirit Day with the end of each nine weeks of school. It's also the day report cards go home. On School Spirit Day, each student is asked to wear the school colors or a school spirit shirt. PTO handles the buying and selling of school spirit merchandise, so this also raises money for the school. The students enjoy wearing the shirts to show their school spirit!

We also have school spirit day first Friday of the month. Kids wear their school t-shirt or sweatshirt. Student council sells bags of popcorn for 25 cents. They keep the money create way for them to earn funds for their activities. The PTO and Student Council went in together to buy a popcorn machine for the school. We use it for all our events. We also do PJ day. Kids can wear their PJs (appropriate) to school. Lots of fun

WE ALSO HAVE SCHOOL SPIRIT IN OUR SCHOOL- THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR WE HAVE DONE THIS. WE GAVE THE KIDS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE TEE SHIRTS WITH THE SCHOOL NAME ON IT - THEY WEAR THESE ON THESE DAYS AND THEY HAVE ALSO DONE THINGS LIKE CRAZY HAIR DAY, BLUE AND WHITE DAY, SPORT DAY, INSIDE OUT DAY, ETC.
THE PTO, PRINCIPAL AND STUDENT COUNCIL TRY TO COORDINATE THINGS SO THAT THE KIDS HAVE SOMETHING FUN TWICE A MONTH.

I HAVE BEEN WITH THE SCHOOL NOW A YEAR AND
A HALF AND HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING TO DO WITH
SCHOOL SPIRIT AND WOULD LOVE TO GET IT BACK
INTO THE SCHOOL - I THINK THE KIDS WOULD
