First of all, I am not looking to start a big debate. I am on a committee looking in to switching our local PTA to a PTO -- more because of the PTAs political involvment, instead of the state/national dues issue. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this process and how it went. Those against the change at our school act like our school would collapse if we change. I commend all of you who volunteer your time to help students, teachers, and schools. Thank you for providing me with info that I can take back to the committee.
