Go to www.rvnuccio.com for insurance. It will run around $500.00. Their phone number is 800-567-2685.

We do are in the process of setting up a PTSO for our middle school due to the fact that they are moving in to a different building. Prior to that we were a PTA in conjunction with elementary school. We took our bylaws from our PTA converted them to PTO, took some of the same ideas for fundraising and are in the process of completing the 1023 (nonprofit exempt status). One reason we went with a PTSO for our middle school is we wanted to get the students more involved. We will not be charging dues since parent participation is lower with MS parents. However, I must admit I'm having alot of volunteers stepping up now such as for board positions, committee members and students. We have had two meetings thus far for next year and have several nonselling fundraisers setup. Our faculty and principal are really excited about having their OWN building and organization. One good place to get help is right here. Since I have logged on I have received alot of helpful information. Good Luck!

We are in the process of opening a new middle school here in Arizona. I am on the Parent Organization Board. I have been given the task of making the school a PTO or a PTA. I am looking for seasoned information in reference to which is the best idea. I have not heard much about either. I am most interested in the business of insurance and the two choices. Please email me any info in reference to this issue. It is greatly appreciated.
