Catalog Companies

Okay, now I feel REALLY old! I remember Tom Thumb! I also remember selling those candy sticks (in different flavors). Everytime I go to Cracker Barrel, I see them and think about middle school! I'll have to google Tom Thumb to see if they're doing anything these days! It's like watching "We are the 70's"....it brings back so many memories

Msychel, We did extensive research. Our board voted unanimously for Cherrydale. They have the best catalog for 2007.

We used Market Day last year and our sales really dropped, even though we have a great Market Day turn out. We use Kathryne Beich before and did really well.

We can all make a diffrence...

We've used Midland fundraising and are going with Market Day brochure fundraiser this year since we already participate in the food program. Very satisfied with Midland in the past. I know Current Catalog also does a fundraiser. Current has a good name and their wrapping paper is top quality. I order it every Christmas.

We are using a company we've never used before-BelieveKids-for our fundraiser that begins in a little over a week. They have the usual catalog stuff along with videos, music and magazines, so I think it will appeal to a broader base than most catalogs.
They also have an ongoing incentive program for the kids and another incentive program for the teachers so that it's worth their while to take a few minutes to remind the kids to turn in their orders.
Last night was our Open House and we had a display table of samples from the catalog and sample of the prizes kids could win, along with a sneak preview catalog, and reaction seemed favorable.
Everyone I've spoken to at the company seems very upbeat and helpful, so I'm hoping for an easy (& profitable, lol) few weeks.
