One last note, these were the result of a drawing at a customer appreciation event. I sometimes use the local branch of this hotel for clients coming in from out of town. So don't assume they donate to non-profits. No idea if they do or not, but I don't want them called next year with the pitch -"but you gave to us last year".

Hello. Thank you for offering the hotel stays to others that can use them for their fundraisers.
We are interested in your Charlotte hotel stay. We are a new middle school in Waxhaw, NC - just outside of Charlotte and are having our First Annual Fall Fundraiser on November 4th. We are extremely excited about the opportunity to have a night whereby we raise money to help update our classrooms with smart boards and helping to fund an outdoor classroom that will be used by all grades.
Our event will have include an Italian Dinner (with the teachers and staff as wait staff), basket raffles (with items donated by students and parents) and a Silent Auction with items donated locally. Unfortunately we are low on community business donations, and not from lack of trying. We have hit the pavements and sent many letters. Your hotel stay would be a great asset to our auction and sincerely appreciate your consideration.
