skimom: I'll look forward to your post!
Lisa: In our town we also have a United Council
which "unites" all the PTOs...
Domestic Goddess: Your town opoly is having an actual monopoly board game created for your town. There are 2 aspects to the fundraising efforts: selling squares to local businesses which will be printed on the board game (ex: instead of B&M Railraod you might have Mike's Taxi,Betty's Boutique or "Your town name" House of Pizza - perhaps chains might even take a square - great advertising possibility!) Second opportunity for funds would the actual selling of the game.

We are planning on trying the town monopoly game this year as a fundraiser for our media center. It looks like a lot of work, but the profit looks good. I'll let you know when we are done.

I would love to, but it's kind of expensive and we are a low income elementary school. I hope to bring it up in high school. (yes I plan on going all the way through with my kids) UGH!
