Well said Serendipity. We here just try to help posters that come in with questions.... regardless of the circumstances.

Proudmom...what some of these angry poster forgot to realize is that we don't know any of you. So trying to set the record straight and clear up falsehoods is kind of moot point with the regular posters. We don't need to know what is going on and who is right and who is wrong as none of it has any bearing on us. Someone asks a question and we respond to the best of our ability. Pals hits the nail on the head when she says you need some mediation there. There are two sides to every story and usually the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I think you would all be best served in the long run by sitting down and hashing this out. If this matter is not resloved on some level it will just continue to go on. It is in the best interest of your group and your school to try to find someway to end this problem or at the very least smooth it over.

proudmom there is nothing to apologize for, when we are given a question we try to answer it fairly. There appears to have been a few people from your school on here and I just truly feel that this needs to be handled in person and not on a site that gets thousands and thousands of hits. For future if you find yourself in this situation it may be better to not respond on this site, by try mediation within your school, you were one of the nicer responders so maybe some of the others will see this! Good Luck!

I want to set the record straight. First, I would like to apologize to those of you whom think I was trying to slam someone behind their back or whatever you call it. The only reason I came on here and posted the statements that I did is because the leaders of our group were being attacked behind their backs. This person decided to come on here to get all of your opinions without giving all of you ALL THE FACTS. I am a neutral party in this and I really feel they were being very disrespectful to the people who have worked very hard this year to do a good thing for the children and teachers of our school. My intent was never to make any one look bad, but to give all the facts. It's not fair to ask all of you for a true opinion if someone is not being truthful. These parents are giving our leaders and our school a bad name! We have a wonderful group of people here who have done awesome jobs! It's sad that this has shown all of you differently. Thank God you don't know names, because that could really tarnish more than it has. I am proud to be apart of this school! I have had nothing but wonderful experiences! This situation no one should be proud of! Again, I apologize. Thank you for your time and feed back.

It is very sad and I only wish that these groups soon find the paths toward working things out. Why is it so hard for adults - grown up human beings - to sit down, face-to-face and meet with each other? With or without a mediator, take your pick but ultimately, it's the chance for everyone to lay out their opinions and ideas on the table to start from. Then, put one foot in front of the other and go from there to reach the goals. Just my $.02, maybe it comes from my job working with grievances and arbitrations each day...but issues are always settled. Maybe not always to each party's liking, but it's settled and usually, down the road, one hand washes the other. One party may not get their way one time but may the next. It will never happen if no one ever tries to work together. Now, I'm rambling...

Amen Pals and CC....

This makes me realize how truly fortunate I am with my group of ladies. In my 3 years as president I have only had one issue crop up and in the grand scheme of things it was really no big deal. It's very said to see such bitterness, I really feel for the parents that are just trying to be there for the support of the kiddos and staff of that school. What a distraction!!! Have a great day everyone!
