We have a HUGE meeting coming up this week! We had some money leftover from last year (we thought we'd be in the red! Imagine our surprise!) so we have purchased a laptop computer and printer package to be given away at our first meeting. We are calling it the Apples for Education Volunteer Drive.

The thing is, I'm the president and I don't have a CLUE what I should say to welcome everyone to this meeting. I was reading the PTO Today magazine and just realized that I am one of the worst PTO Mom's ever (I do TOO much and have a hard time letting other people take over projects as they have let me WAY down in the past)

Anyway, this may FINALLY be our chance to reach out to more then just a handful of parents. Granted, they may only be showing up because they have a chance at winning a computer. That said, I want to make a GOOD impression on them and to send the right message. Unfortunately, the message I wanted to send is EXACTLY what the magazine said I SHOULDN'T say. ARGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!! I want to do what's right. Who wants to help me with my speech. Please????
