Hello I am Jennifer, I have a little problem and coulld use some help.
Oue School has always had a great PTO, I have been involved with it when my oldest was in school there and now am trying to get involved again noow that my youngest s in school there.
The problem is that the ladies that were heading the PTO the last 2 years have gone MIA, Several people have tried to contact the president including me but we have gotten no where. The Vice President is working now and unable to hold any meetings and she doesn't want to. As far as I know that is all that was listed as officers in our PTO.
Now I have been asked by the Princapal to hold a meeting and see if we can get new officers elected. I will more than likely going to end up as President, which I am more than happy to do, I just have no idea where to start. Our By laws and stuff should already be set up but if I cant get the old President to talk with me how am I suppose to find them.
I guess what I am asking is where do I start. What do I need to do first?
