I think I would rather go along with the lunch idea. I am doing that with the incoming President. We will go over any questions that she may ave and also hand her my folders and such at that time.
I so much enjoyed that from the President before me. She took the time to transfer her "brain power" to me. All her ideas and experience helped tremendously.
This year we had lunch together! I have become Prez after 2 years as the Secretary and the Prez was the Vice prez with me then Prez. We have an odd friendship (we agree to disagree) an the lunch was also a good way to exchange 'stuff' and reflect on our two years together.
*We did do the picture idea for our Principal, Dean, and Teacher Sponsor of our first Senior Class. Lots of tears!
how about a 3 x 5 picture of staff & board members, centered in a 8x10 frame. Then have everyone sign their name around the picture before putting it in the frame. If its to difficult to get everyone, try at least a few teachers, principal and board members she served with.Or make a collage with everyones picture and signatures too and frame it...I'm sure she'll love it.
I need a small gift idea for the outgoing president of our PTO. She is moving on to the high school and I am taking her place as the new President.
