Would anyone be willing to part with a copy of their survey? I just need somewhere to start acquiring new info. Thanks!

I am chairman of fundraising. I got all of the committee together and we decided
on what we thought might work as next years sellers. We gave the people 10 choices. We had them circle what they would like to see come home for the following year. It work out well. This way the parents have the say and the items or products sold betterl, bringing in higher profits for the PTO.

We conducted an end-of-the-year survey last year. I had intended for it to be fairly broad, but we ended up needing to target some specific issues, so ours was rather focused. The information was very helpful. To encourage responses, we held a drawing. Each child that turned in a completed survey got a raffle ticket from his/her teacher, filled it out, and put it in the big jar in the office (prominently displayed with hot pink raffle tickets). The prize was an ice cream sundae party with the vice principal, and we selected about 12 winners. This approach was pretty successful, and I'm sure the kid pressure helped us get more surveys returned.

Our group just sent home our first ever survey this month. Response has been really good and I am actually looking at adding it all up while in the hospital with my new baby! I know you all don't have that option (HAHAHHHAAA) but I thought it would be a great time to work on it!
OUr group had whispers of disbanding but we have learned though early responses many parents new to the school don't know what we do and others are still "recovering" from a difficult past President and will be back just need a breather.

You know, we don't do this, but I think it's a great idea. I'm going to bring it up at the next board meeting. I was thinking of sending out a survey trying to figure out why people don't come to meetings, but I don't think I really want to know the answers. A end of year survey sounds intersting though. This way we can find out what people enjoyed, and what new things they'd like. The only problem I could see would be having to actually compile data from the surveys- that might become a headache.

Does anyone survey the parents at the end of the year regarding the events/fundraisers that were held during the school year to find out what they thought? Maybe have them rate the activities 0 -10. Zero being did not participate.
We send out a volunteer survey form at the beginning of the new school year, but I was just wondering if this was done and what kind of results anyone was getting.
