Check out www.dmarie.com. Click on "Inspiration" on the left hand side and do a search for "volunteers". You'll see a bunch of stuff. Good luck!

Hi all I remember last summer I found 2 poems that I wanted to save for this year, and well, guess what..I cant find them. One was a poem having to do with the first day of kindergarten..it was about a balloon and something like, "take a hold of this string and dont let go" and it was an activity for the new kindergarten parents. The second one was a rather long poem that went like..."There were 10 volunteers and they were asked to spend some time...one dropped out, then there were only nine..." It went all the way down to one, but how if you asked just one person and they asked one how you can get more involvement. Anyway, if anyone recognizes either one of these poems and you know where I can find them in their entirety I would appreciate it. I am getting a jump on my school proposal for my principal to review over the summer and I wanted to include both of these. Thank you!!!!!!!
