hey guys,
it's a program similar to one the bank is already doing for high school kids. they seem rather hesitant for elementary kids though and i don't know why. the kids will be able to deposit as little as $.25 up to however much they'd like. once deposits are made, i would take their envelopes to the bank for deposit. they will recieve monthly statements at home with their balance. (also get deposit reciept at school but showing no balace). any account that opens with $25.00 or more- the bank donates $5.00 back to the PTA. it's a win win situation!

hey guys- the concept is to have the children 1x a week make deposits into a savings account that they can open at the school. the deposits can be as little as .25 and up to whatever amount. they will get reciepts from school(that show no balance) however, the bank will mail them quarterly statements. any accounts that are opened with $25.00 or more, our PTA gets $5.00 donated to us. once the school banking day is done, i take the slips and money (in individual deposit envelopes)to the bank for deposit. the bank that i'm looking at already runs a high school program similar to what i want, but for some reason seem to be hesitant on elementary school! anymore help/suggestions greatly appreciated!
