ooh I love it... i saw that and wondered too and was looking for a way to recognize our volunteers! We are using the slogan "our children see the prints we leave" and I wanted to mark a trail of where our volunteers have been... what a great idea! I'm going to suggest this idea to our group!

Some schools make paper chains to draw attention to their volunteer parents. Whenever someone helps out at an event, or does some other type of service to the school, their name gets put on a strip of paper, which is added to the chain. These are usually hung in the lobby area of the school. The kids get a kick out of seeing their parent's name and the person is recognized for a "job well done". It's a great idea and easy to do
