We use Lunar Pages ( Web Hosting Services, Affordable & Reliable | Lunarpages.com ). They offer free hosting and a free domain name to any K-12 school in the US. We've had a great experience with them with no problems.

Try orgsites.com - it's a free host. There is also a new free one out by Microsoft at officelive.com. For that one you could sign on as a "small business" (they even may have a "personal" option now) and you get a very large amount of space.

I actually set up a web site for my work on orgsites, which was a great site, but recently re-created it with the Office live for more options and space.

we use register.com, it's not free but it's also pretty cheap. $150 a year, tat pto pays for, and we have a great site with email. Also our name is easy to remember and put on notes.

I don't really know of any free ones.....but Go daddy is fairly inexpensive and with me having very little prior computer experience, they haven shown to treat us right. You could check out our website to see if it is anything you like.
