A great starting point is to check out two thread on our message boards: the Ultimate Donation List (the original) and the 2013 Ultimate Donation List.
These threads include input from community members on donors (national, regional, local) that they've had success with when requesting a donation for their event. Some folks post a full list of every donor they've contacted, which are very helpful. We have a search function on the original Ultimate Donation List (because the thread is long!) to help you find particular vendors you might be interested in contacting.
I have taken over the fundraising for my daughter's school. Beside the local eateries and entertainment establishment I would like to get creative and venture out to bigger corporate places that may donate to our cause. I too would love a list of corporations that have donated.
