Is this a local thing, or do they do it nationally?

I am not sure the chair person is doing it she had a meeting with a business owner (and parent at school) and radio disney they will reserve I think 5 30 second time slots for business to advertise and we get part of the money from that (if I understood her correctly).

Thanks... some at our school are concerned about them. I think they are worried about going so "commercial" We are paying the $500 but offsetting it buy selling advertising slots on the radio station. They are bringing games and face painting and we will be doing our usual magicians and moonwalk bake sale and silent auction with a mini craft fair... Oh and dinners too.

Will be fun I am sure.

I have asked this question too. Anyone who has used them really liked it. We are considering using them too. In some areas of the country, they were able to get them for free. In Denver they charge $500 but bring prizes, games and are all inclusive (don't need help).

Hope that answers your question a little.
