Ours is "Field Day" - very boring. just the kids running around, playing games and eating hotdogs. we do ours during the school day, our school is really new so we're just learning, we'd love to do a bigger "carnival" type, but are just getting into the whole school community and building our PTA up.
We call ours "XXXX Family Fair"-- this would work for any school--- we have games to play, food, and raffles throughout the night-- including donated gift baskets, and a large raffle ticket event... with the top prize 500.00
We call ours "Fiesta Carnival" We do have a taco bar that night, we have the district provide the food so it is less expensive than having a mexican restaurant provide the food.
